Join us Saturday, April 19th for a Congregational Hike at Detweiler Park at 9 am
Join us for an easy, all ages, 1½ mile hike at Detweiler Park, on Saturday, April 19th. We’ll meet at 9:00 AM at the parking lot at the trailhead. Dress for the weather, and wear good, sturdy walking shoes. The trails we’ll use are unimproved, dirt surfaces, and are mostly level. Pack water and, if you’d like, a snack.
We’ll take a break about halfway through for a short Bible study.
Please see the park rules. Plan to carry out any trash or pet waste.
Directions from the Harrisburg area: Take US-322 West to the PA-225, Peters Mountain Road exit. Follow PA-225 North, Peters Mountain Road for about 1.8 miles. The park entrance is on the right, just past PA-325 East, Clark’s Valley Road, and 3B’s Ice Cream.
